I was able to attend this years Collect Art Fair held at Somerset House in central London.
I got the train down from Liverpool on 25th February, dropped my bags off at the hotel and made my way over. It felt strange to be somewhere so crowded, it was almost like the "good old days" before the pandemic. I had got used to smaller crowds and limited availability so I was a little overwhelmed.
It was very interesting from a market perspective to see how being signed to a gallery could help with your exposure at these events. I was drawn to both the Cynthia Corbett Gallery display and also the House on Mars Gallery room. Both these galleries had incredible ceramic artists that they were showing and I was blown away with both the works and how they were displayed.
